Q&A with Kathleen Alleaume from The Right Balance

Kathleen Alleaume has worked as a health expert in the field of nutrition and exercise for close to 20 years. During her time in the industry, she has come to find that a lot of public information surrounding health is unrealistic, conflicting or just plain false.

Through her business, The Right Balance, Kathleen is committed to undertaking the research required to deliver best-practice advice and effective solutions to business and individuals alike.

We spoke to Kathleen about how a good night's sleep is key to a happy and healthy lifestyle.

Were you having any issues with your sleep?

Kathleen: Physically, I've been lucky enough not to have suffered from any aches or pains during my sleep, but being a mum to young kids, you find that your sleep is constantly interrupted by one thing or another. I've found that having a good quality and comfortable mattress makes it so much easier to fall back asleep.

Has your sleep improved since switching to a Sealy mattress?

Kathleen: Absolutely! I feel like my sleep is much deeper now thanks to my Sealy Manelli Plush Ensemble, and I find myself waking up more refreshed in the morning. Its amazing how much your mattress can affect your overall sleep patterns.

Are you finding you have more energy to perform your regular routine and life tasks?

Kathleen: Definitely. The trick for me is to stick to a regular sleeping pattern as much as possible and go with your circadian rhythm. Your circadian rhythm is basically a 24-hour internal clock that is running in the background of your brain and cycles between sleepiness and alertness at regular intervals. It's also known as your sleep/wake cycle. By sticking to a regular pattern, you will find that sleep will come more naturally each night and you will wake up revived and ready for the day ahead.
